Victoria Roberts has spent as many years in the antique trade as she has in the arts in one form or another. Now, the melding of those two strong forces in her life has lead her to create stories and sculptural forms, redirecting the meaning of found old objects to create a new found perspective. Old treasures that would otherwise be lost in drawers or trash bins, are now joined together as the vehicle for a new communication.

Daddy's Little Girl
This piece came from a very personal place... sometimes dark things need to see the light of day.
the lapis color is enchanting- I have seen this one before and love it! Yes, second piece is almost ominus.... speaking to a Father/Daughter relationship? bringing the memories to light. Lovely work!
Being a father, this piece is truly disturbing. But having the artist be my dear Mother, casting light where (for years) there has been so much darkness on an area of her life, fills me with joy and truly demonstrates the triumph of art and life. I think your work is seriously brilliant, Mom, and I'm proud to be your son.
V, the sheer brilliance of your work is testament to the power of love that banishes the darkness and shines the cleansing light of truth on everything you do. You know this one disturbs and simultaneously empowers, what a gift you give us.
